CellPort is a B2B, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that helps modern laboratories handle the complexity of working with cells.

Client Mission

CellPort’s mission is to streamline and accelerate the cell manufacturing process through innovative software and hardware solutions.

Through the development of regenerative medicine, gene therapy, cell therapy, and other cell-based medical technologies, many pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies that engage in cell culturing, cell banking, and cell storage are still using paper notebooks and simple, unprotected spreadsheets to store lab data and manage daily operations, including resources, equipment, and personnel.

THE CHALLENGE

CellPort 3.0 – a third iteration of the all-in-one lab management platform – was dated to release Q4 of 2023. 

 

Internally developed and validated in contract research organization Absorption Systems, the team at CellPort knew there was market fit for their platform, but lacked visibility into their target audience and competitive landscape. 

 

The team also needed a new and improved brand that reflected the upgraded nature of their latest solution.
